Terms of Use
Last updated June 30, 2026
kpkg.dev is a package registry and discovery site for the Kotlin Multiplatform ecosystem. By using it, you agree to the following. They're written to be readable, not to trap you.
The service
kpkg.dev provides a catalog of Kotlin Multiplatform libraries and (soon) hosting for packages published by verified authors. It is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service.
Catalog data
Library listings are indexed from public sources, including klibs.io and public source repositories. Metadata, stars, and READMEs belong to their respective authors and projects. If you maintain a listed project and want a correction or removal, get in touch.
Publishing (when available)
When publishing opens, by uploading a package you confirm that:
- You have the right to distribute the artifacts and that they comply with their own licenses.
- You publish only under namespaces you have verified ownership of.
- Released versions are immutable — once published, a release cannot be altered or overwritten, only superseded by a new version.
- You won't upload malware, illegal content, or anything that infringes others' rights.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no attempts to disrupt or overload it, no scraping that degrades it for others, no circumventing access controls. We may rate-limit, suspend, or remove content or accounts that break these terms or put the service at risk.
Takedowns
If content infringes your rights or violates these terms, report it and we'll review it promptly. We may remove or disable access to content at our discretion to keep the registry safe and lawful.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, kpkg.dev and its maintainer are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, or for the content of any third-party package. You use packages at your own risk and should review them as you would any dependency.
Changes & contact
These terms may change as the service evolves; the date above reflects the current version. Questions? Reach @android_poet on X.
